In December 2025, AMCP Foundation convened managed care leaders from health plans, PBMs, life sciences, patient advocacy, and policy organizations for a symposium focused on advancing practical, scalable solutions to address health disparities and improve medication access, affordability, and outcomes.
Discussions covered topics such as precision medicine, AI, vaccine access, community pharmacy, and data-driven strategies to drive innovation that advances equity, enhances patient outcomes, and supports meaningful change.

A grant initiative was launched to support scholarly papers addressing health disparities, with priority given to topics highlighted during the symposium.
