2019 PT Annual Banner

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Foundation proudly announced the recipients of its 19th Annual National Student Pharmacist Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Competition during the AMCP Foundation Awards Ceremony. Awards were presented on Thursday, March 28 at the AMCP Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting in San Diego.

Ten additional teams were recognized as honorable mention semifinalists. These teams represented: California Northstate College of Pharmacy; The Ohio State University; University of California at San Diego; University of Houston; University of Michigan; University of Missouri-Kansas City; University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; University of the Pacific; University of Utah; and Western University of Health Sciences.

AMCP members served as the volunteer judges and evaluated each team's case study submission and presentations during the finalist competition. The 2019 P&T Competition drug was TYMLOS® (abaloparatide) injection, manufactured by Radius Health, Inc. The competition was made possible through the generous support of Genentech, Inc. Amgen, Inc, Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Dymaxium, and AMCP/eDossier System. The awards were presented by our generous sponsors.

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Foundation proudly announced the recipients of its 18th Annual National Student Pharmacist Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Competition during the AMCP Foundation Awards Ceremony. Awards were presented on Thursday, April 26 at the AMCP Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting in Boston.

Eight finalist teams were selected from 16 AMCP Student Chapters that advanced to the second round of the semi-finals. The finalists represented The Ohio State University, College of Pharmacy, University of California San Diego Skaggs, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Pharmacy, University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, University of Utah, College of Pharmacy and the University of Wisconsin, Madison School of Pharmacy.

The AMCP Foundation announced the winners of its 15th Annual National Student Pharmacist Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Competition. The awards were presented April 10th at AMCP’s 27th Annual Meeting & Expo in San Diego, CA.

The eight finalist teams were from the following schools and colleges of pharmacy: Lipscomb University, Purdue University, Rutgers University, Touro University, University of California San Diego, University of California San Francisco, University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Minnesota.
